Duke University and North Carolina State University truth and gospel forum report

Truth Forums @ Duke and NC State

Saturday, September 11 @ Duke University

Christians on Campus welcomed about 50 people gathered at McClendon Tower Saturday evening for the Truth Forum at Duke University. The panel was comprised of brothers from California, Louisiana, Maryland, and the Triangle.

Students asked questions about three main topics: the meaning of human life, the mystery of God, and the Bible.

Two new ones were saved, then baptized at the nearby Holly Hill apartment that night!

Please continue to pray for Kevin (pictured 2nd from right, sitting), a graduate student, and Linda (pictured 3rd from right, sitting), a freshman, as they start their journey through life with the Lord.

The Duke Christians on Campus group is entering its second year. Students gather regularly on a weekly basis and welcome all saints to join them in their pursuit of Christ!

Sunday, September 12 @ N.C. State

NC State’s Christians on Campus club also hosted a Truth Forum with the visiting brothers the following night.

The club welcomed several new students who are fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We hope to continue to have fellowship with them throughout the school year.

There were also two sisters who received the Lord that night after the forum. Their names are Mahsa and Sarah. Sarah was also baptized at the Ferndell House that night.

Please continue to pray for them both to have a heart that seeks after the Lord and for the saints who will be shepherding them throughout the school year.

The NCSU Christians on Campus group has started to have regular Bible studies on campus at the D.H. Hill Library. Lord, use this opportunity to gain the seeking ones on the campus
